EMS Ordinance Revision Process Update

The Sonoma County Department of Health Services-Coastal Valleys EMS Agency has expanded and extended the stakeholder engagement process for the proposal to update the current Emergency Medical Services Ordinance for the County of Sonoma. Our goal is to have a robust group of individuals participating in the process, as partners and the public are critical to the creation of a strong and effective ordinance that both protects the public and adheres to state law.

We will be holding a series of public workshops at various locations across Sonoma County at dates and times that are still to be determined. Our vision is to include individuals from ambulance provider agencies, healthcare facilities, public safety and fire departments as well as from local government agencies. We will be posting additional information as our planning progresses in hopes that a wide range of stakeholders will engage with us in this process.
